Dear Cecilia, might a connection between playmobil aggregation and family constellation (I only know what you touched on yesterday) exist? In both cases, at the end, we are talking about people who gather in small and bigger social groups with the aim of communicating. Concerning Playmobil, all is a simulacrum. Perturbing, inexpressive, sterile, in the family constellations, at the contrary, is loaded with impermanence, warmness and hesitation.

Dear Marco,
Sure a connection is there, playmobil which aren’t playmobil, are firstly “used” by Bert Hellinger in individual constellation to locate, depending on their position, the problems which have determined the stuck, ensnares etc. which in my opinion are a talisman to represent the patient full of emotional and magical, spiritual power. Therefore, are you sure these puppets are sterile and inexpressive, motionless and not memory carriers? Instead, they do have a single life, a hidden truth, a vital energy that forces them to hide or reveal subconscious realities drawn from the morphogenetical field, mirrors of the groups in the constellations as much as the single. When I look at them in the basins, I merge them, I am “in fieri” with them, fluctuating with or going through my puppets, watching the constellation movements through them, the hidden dynamics which regulate us and the liquids where I merge them are nothing but the subconscious and the occult movement which pushes them to life. Other times, it is the glow of the mind, which must be located into a creative reality..

Dear Cecilia,
so beautiful this digging in the (not) sterile soul of these stiff plastic puppets to find and reveal their vital energy. “And finally we went to see again the stars” quoting by heart but that’s the sense. In fact, this Playmobil are votive statues not yet instilled with vital sparkles: it’s a common story (at the beginning Adam was a clay sculpture). Why not then; the still mirror of a soul, which doesn’t know if it is able to or already is? By the way you have the destiny in your name yet: “Luci” (lights) IN FIERI. An egg is sterile until it is fertilized as this Playmobil, which brings you back to childhood therefore, to the past, irreversible, far away and yet to be solved or maybe reanimated if not relived.

Glows, lights… shadows. One the opposite side of the other. Inanimate beings, which mime human, live with its virtues and weakness. Each Playmobil family is ruled by secret bonds, the “love orders”. Every family as well as humans, every system, as much as my puppets that play it, posses a field of collective soul which overcomes the individual one. A field that moves beyond the mind that lies, which imprisons the will, which drives so that the truth emerges, cause we al live absorbed in information fields where constantly we draw and which deeply impinge on us: the morphogenic fields in fact. The Playmobil therefore live a life on its own, maybe reflected, they look for a path or an order, a place in the space, their own place at image and resemblance on behalf of whom they represent cause they get into resonance. And somehow I, or who display them, opens the passage of its secrets and leads them inside the magical fence in order to find the proper place, the correct location among the group. Because all of us live of membership and without it, disconnection and rejections are remarked.

And if the right setting is not founded? In fact, at least apparently, they don’t seam able to move and act. And, the secrets of the liaisons (secret bonds) can remain hidden forever and nobody will ever know it. Then lets say it in another way: those figures are simulations of links, souls and individual’s realities, maybe even their mirror (what you call “the opposite side”) when not working, when real bonds are only dissimulations and emptiness, when staying together isn’t but dumb talk without desired objects. A couple that is not able to talk anymore for instance, two friends unable to understand each other, a numerous group of lonely people (a solitary crowd). Therefore, these little plastic metaphors carry our real problems almost undertaking a magical function, apotropaical, archaic, exorcistical. Fetish of an impossible communication or yet to be activated: Optimistic or hopeless?

Uhmmm… And if, reflecting hidden dynamics, simulating human groups their aim would be to tease them, in an ancestral way, atavic, restore an order able to make energies and new realities flow. If their aim would be revealing hidden memories, familiar, “To each one his own memories”, an effort to restore the Self? I ask myself, if nothing although chaotic can be fortuitous. If my displaying them, if conducting them, observing, if my/them immersion wouldn’t be a mirror of my subconscious world-wise, as per mine also representing the one of others. The “other you”, “other them” me like you. In any case, as I explained before, they find the straight taking information from that morphic field where all of us are soaked, in those fields of information where we draw, which influences us: the morphogenetic fields. A research of dynamics which lead to reason, leading towards a new path, giving birth to the society from their selves, (the puppets) so well exasperated and interpreted. Atavism, linked to the field in which they move once displayed. Twisting those bonds that are irrationally passed, handed down to the progeny, transmitted by the tradition (that for the indigenous tribes: see Hellinger in Africa studies, on which observations he based the familiar constellation) fields of consciousness felt, lived as incomprehensible, secluded, out of a rational field (maybe I’ve lost crux of the matter and to find out my path I’ve lost my self with them as well). But they vibrate and I listen and watch their attention, the consideration that they want to provoke, awaken, in order to show me and allow me to access into a powerful part of me.

Yes, just what I would have asked you: How much of what they tell, narrate and represent, belongs to your personal passed experience? But here is the boundary beyond which the piece of work and its interpretation must not go, otherwise the fact becomes private instead of aesthetic. The importance is to sense that there are underground dynamics and this is reviled, that you can witness that powerful part of you; that a piece of work can express without “talking”. Anyhow, in my opinion, it is more about an irremediable and irreversible loss of the Self, close to Herry’s drama in Eliot’s ‘Family reunion’ which I suggest you to read (I thought about you yesterday while reading it). Yep, how much of this belongs to me? Don’t you think that inside any piece of work there’s always something deeply private? Involuntarily, not expecting this question, I already declare it. Don’t you think that all that is created by a photographer or a painter tells about his life and obsessions, his personal point of view towards the objective reality? Studies or whatever we decide to put our attention on, necessarily influences our field of interaction and our language as well. In any case, at least for what concerns the work on constellations that draw from the concept of the morphological resonance and the movements that follow, I instinctively choose to be led to the tale which somehow pulls me and is partially bound to my past.

Moreover if you were an actress for thirteen years you might have noticed the difference between who you are and who you appear to be, your personality and the ones of the character you played. From this discrepancy between being yourself and being others, takes birth the detachment from the Self, seeing yourself from outside as if you were a stranger, like a soul that doesn’t belong to you. As an object? Mine are only suppositions since I’ve never performed as an actor and I cannot know what it really is to interpret somebody else.

Talking about my experience as an actress may lay to misunderstandings… an object? A fiction? Also the roles I’ve interpreted, although being a fantasy product, were becoming real or somehow part of me because there I could have found a place where there is the needed information in order to create the character, whether it was existing or not. On the other hand, isn’t an actress at least in part a person who decides to be led by a director? A warrior who, in the work “Constellations” could recall the idea of a superior consciousness able to put in order and restore. Sure, the familiar constellations and the puppets in behalf of the constellatory group, are like an apparent staging of a psychodrama (ah if ever Hellinger would hear me!) where restoring or uniting a knot allows the individual, actualizing a drama, to detach himself and proceed to a following life phase purified the influences which were blocking him. For “restoring of the Self” instead, I mean a group self, I the constellations as well as for my Playmobil, all is together, group, since “the other” is another part of us necessarily not disjointed, a self universally considered as matter of aggregation. In my job, I direct the orchestra and first of all I’m the observer (who is herself observed), then, but only after, unintentional composer of a work of art. But, not only what is “mine”, inside my works also what is “yours” and “their” can be found. Is, for whoever is able to see a part of the Self. And that Self, is a common self, able to restore also what is lost.

Here it is, that function that I define as magical and ancestral inside a work of art, I’d say “astrological” in the positive sense, influence and symbol of a distant influence… I guess you were having these thoughts before the Playmobil…
Luci:
Maybe I posses them since ever. The creative process that blossoms inside matter was born before, much before, in the world of ideas, in the mind or in a place/non-place where dwells consciousness that forces us to show what is essential, and the embryonic part finds its heyday. PS: You’ll be obliged to become the curator of this show if ever we continue this way, it’s only an idea keep calm, but obviously I would be very happy in case.
Tonelli: As per Plato’s ideas, pure, perfect and not spoiled by human imperfections. Curator or not, for the time being I guess we wrote a whole text, to be revised but it has sense, what do you think about it?
